Join us for a workshop to connect the environment to ALL Careers and youth to business
Youth, businesses and the public will convene at this short workshop to discover pathways to a green economy that involve and empower youth as part of the process. All are welcome and encourage to attend! This event will include short presentations by students and business representatives, a panel discussion, and engaging activities. We will explore how ALL Careers* have effects on the environment and how that impact can be lessened and reversed in positive directions!
Speakers will include high school students Stella Corzine and Soren Firestine as well as representatives from Treehouse Learning, The World of Wonder Children’s Museum, JAX Ranch and Home, Alpen Windows and Sister Carmen Community Center. The organization One Voice 4 Change will enable this session to be broadcast to youth and adults in other parts of the U.S. and in foreign countries.
Join us at Sister Carmen Community Center at 655 Aspen Ridge Dr, Lafayette. RSVP to Martin Ogle at Martin@EntrepreneurialEarth.com or Felicity at OneVoice4Change@yahoo.com
* The ALL Careers initiative seeks to explicitly connect environmental understanding with ALL careers – not just those few usually thought of as “environmental careers.” There is wide consensus that societies must move towards economies in balance with Earth’s living systems. For this to occur, we need to empower youth to be part of the process - today’s youth will be tomorrow’s economy!
